You would have thought that opening up the first deli/cafe in a small town would have caused quite a stir and got people in the doors, but when I opened my new place in Kimberley, near Nottingham, I didn’t want to rely on that alone. I wanted to make sure I advertised the opening of the new venture as well as possible.

I put something in the Eastwood and Kimberley Advertiser and put an advert on local radio, but I wanted to go one step further, so I went to and got a load of posters printed, which I could put up around the town to tell people about the deli.

I used the company logo, and made the opening date really good. I even thought of an offer which I could put on the poster and use on the opening day to get people into the place.

The posters from came back really quickly, and they looked brilliant.

On opening day the deli was full of people, and they all seemed really impressed with the place. I think the posters must have worked!
